Kitchen Knives, Knife Sets & Cutting Boards in Singapore
Proper Tools for Proper Kitchens Good tools make everyday kitchen work easier. Our collection includes quality kitchen knives, solid acacia cutting boards, and magnetic knife storage — chosen for their quality, durability and everyday usefulness.
We added knives because we struggled with the same thing ourselves: finding solid, reliable knives that perform well without spending a fortune. So we searched, tested and chose knives we’d happily use in our own kitchen — good steel, solid construction and fair prices, backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
No gimmicks. Nothing excessive. Just proper tools that work.

Our Bread Knife
Once you’ve used a bread knife that glides through firm sourdough crust without needing to press down, you won’t want to go back. The 9″ blade allows a long, controlled slicing motion, breaking through the crust without crushing or closing the delicate crumb.
The blade is made from German 1.4116 stainless steel (X50CrMoV15). Its combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium provides a practical balance of sharpness, strength, wear resistance, and corrosion protection—particularly useful in humid kitchens.
Hardened to approximately 55–57 HRC, the steel is hard enough to keep the serrations effective for many years, yet not excessively hard or brittle.
Unlike many bread knives with stamped teeth, its scalloped serrations are individually ground into the blade. This helps the knife glide through firm crust instead of tearing it, while keeping the crumb open and intact. The knife has one-piece, full-tang construction, with the steel continuing through the entire wooden handle and secured by three rivets for strength, balance, and control. It is the same knife we use during our own bake days for sourdough and focaccia.

3-Piece Knife Set
Already have a bread knife? This three-piece set completes the essential everyday kitchen collection with an 8″ chef’s knife, 7″ Santoku, and 5″ utility knife—covering chopping, slicing, dicing, and smaller precision work.
All three blades are made from German 1.4116 stainless steel (X50CrMoV15). Its combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium provides a practical balance of sharpness, strength, wear resistance, and corrosion protection—particularly useful in humid kitchens.
The blades are hardened to approximately 55–57 HRC: hard enough to maintain a dependable edge, yet not excessively hard or brittle. This makes them less prone to chipping and easier to maintain than many ultra-hard steels.
Each knife has one-piece, full-tang construction, meaning the steel continues through the entire wooden handle. Three rivets secure the handle firmly, while the continuous steel provides strength, balance, and control.
The chef’s knife offers the length and curved profile needed for efficient chopping, the Santoku’s hollow-ground indentations help reduce food sticking, and the utility knife gives greater control for smaller, more precise tasks.

5-Piece Knife Set
One complete set for every everyday cutting task. It includes an 8″ chef’s knife, 7″ Santoku, 5″ utility knife, 3.5″ paring knife, and 9″ bread knife—covering everything from chopping and fine preparation to slicing crusty sourdough without crushing the crumb.
All five blades are made from German 1.4116 stainless steel (X50CrMoV15). Its combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium provides a practical balance of sharpness, strength, wear resistance, and protection against corrosion—particularly important in humid kitchens.
The blades are hardened to approximately 55–57 HRC: hard enough to hold a reliable edge, yet not excessively hard or brittle, making them less prone to chipping and easier to maintain than many ultra-hard steels.
Each knife has one-piece, full-tang construction, meaning the steel continues through the entire wooden handle. Three rivets secure the handle firmly, while the continuous steel provides better balance, stability, and control.
The Santoku’s hollow-ground indentations help reduce food sticking, while the bread knife’s individually ground scalloped serrations glide through firm crust without requiring downward pressure.

Acacia End-Grain Cutting Boards
These are not thin serving boards—they are solid cutting surfaces made for serious everyday use. With end-grain construction, the knife passes between the upright wood fibres instead of cutting directly across them. The fibres naturally move apart and close again, helping to reduce deep cut marks while being gentler on your knife edges.
Dense acacia wood provides durability and natural resistance to everyday moisture. The thickness and weight keep the boards stable while cutting, while the surrounding juice grooves help keep liquids away from your worktop. Each board has its own unique natural grain pattern.
Medium: 35 × 25 × 2.6 cm, with anti-slip feet
Large: 48.5 × 35.6 × 3.8 cm, with juice grooves and anti-slip feet on both sides for stable, reversible use

Acacia End-Grain Cutting Boards
Good knives deserve better than being loose in a drawer or hidden inside a traditional block. Our magnetic knife holder keeps your blades visible, separated, and within easy reach, without forcing the cutting edges into narrow wooden slots. Strong concealed magnets on both wooden panels allow knives to be stored on either side. The number of knives it can hold depends on the size and width of each blade, giving you flexibility to arrange your collection as needed.
The open design allows air to circulate around the blades, avoids moisture collecting inside enclosed slots, and makes the holder easy to inspect and clean. The magnetic panels are made fr om natural acacia wood, providing a warm surface that complements the wooden handles of our knives. Stainless-steel supports connect the panels to a weighted 403 stainless-steel base, giving the holder a total weight of approximately 3.8 kg for excellent stability.
A 2 mm protective foam layer beneath the base helps prevent slipping and protects your worktop from scratches.
Dimensions: 34 cm wide × 25 cm high × 10 cm deep

Engineering & Materials
Built with Intension. Built to last.

Ground scalloped serrations
The serrations are individually ground rather than stamped, allowing the blade to separate crust cleanly without compressing the crumb.
This reduces tearing and helps achieve even slices without crushing the crumb.

Steel & hardness
The engraving shows blade length (9"), X50CrMoV15 steel and hardness 56–58 HRC.
X = stainless steel · 0.50% carbon (edge stability) · chromium (corrosion resistance) · molybdenum (toughness) · vanadium (grain refinement).

Hardwood handle & balance
The hardwood handle and full tang are weighted so the balance point sits near the blade heel, helping guide straight cuts with minimal pressure.
This allows a natural slicing motion rather than forcing the knife through the bread.

Magnetic wooden sheath
The wooden magnetic sheath snaps securely into place to protect the serrations during storage while allowing airflow to keep the blade dry.
Occasional food-grade mineral oil helps preserve the wood and maintain a consistent fit over time.

Seamlessly Glued Construction
Each board is assembled from individually cut acacia blocks that are precision-aligned and seamlessly glued into one solid surface. The close, even joints create a smooth and stable finish without open gaps where moisture or food particles could collect.
This construction combines the strength of multiple solid-wood blocks while making the natural grain pattern of every board unique.

What Is End Grain?
End grain describes how wood is cut and arranged. The wood is cut across its fibres into blocks, then turned so the fibre ends face upwards and seamlessly glued together.
This allows knives to move between the fibres, reducing cut marks and helping blades stay sharp.
The close joints also leave fewer gaps where moisture and food residue can collect, helping reduce bacterial and mould growth.

Solid Acacia Hardwood
Acacia is a dense, durable hardwood with rich natural color and grain.
The wood is cut into individual blocks, carefully arranged and seamlessly glued together for strength and stability. This construction creates a hard-wearing surface and gives every board its own stunning, unique pattern.

Good Oil is Important
Oil the board before first use and regularly thereafter as preventive care.
Food-safe mineral oil conditions the wood, slows moisture loss and helps prevent drying, cracking and warping.
We use and sell odourless food-safe mineral oil that will not turn rancid. Avoid ordinary cooking oils, as they can oxidise and leave a sticky or unpleasant residue.
