Fresh sourdough bread deserves proper handling. the good loaf offers sourdough bread delivery in Singapore, along with professional bread slicing — designed to support quality, convenience and consistency without compromising the character of our artisan sourdough. Each loaf is naturally fermented and baked to order, then delivered across Singapore with care.

 

Selected products are also available frozen, prepared in a way that preserves structure and flavor — giving you the flexibility to enjoy high-quality sourdough anytime, without compromise.

Slicing

Professional bread slicing service is now available at the good loaf, Singapore.

 

Fresh sourdough is naturally firm and can be challenging to slice evenly — especially on the day it is baked. The structured crumb is resilient, and without the right tools it can be difficult to cut cleanly.

 

For optimal quality, we still recommend keeping the loaf whole and slicing with a proper bread knife as needed. This protects the crust, preserves the crumb structure, and prevents the interior from drying out too quickly.

We offer machine slicing for convenience due to repeated customer requests. In our experience, a well-balanced bread knife delivers a cleaner cut for freshly baked breads.

The good loaf offers a solid, well-balanced bread knife with a 5-year warranty, specifically suited for sourdough. If it does not suit you, it can be returned within 7 days for a full refund (conditions apply).

 

For freezing, pre-slicing can be practical. Individual frozen slices can be taken out as needed and placed directly into the toaster for immediate use. You also may visit our "Good to Know" pages for more information on storage and care.

 

Machine slicing is available at a service charge of $2 per loaf. Simply choose the "sliced" option where available, after choosing the bread you like.

Please note:

 

  • Focaccia cannot be supplied pre-cut.

  • Pre-sliced bread may dry out faster due to increased surface exposure.

  • We recommend freezing what is not consumed within 2 days to maintain freshness.

  • Slicing Service may delay the pick-up. The bread need to completely cooled and settled before slicing.

We offer freshly baked artisan sourdough bread delivery across Singapore. Islandwide delivery is available at $10, with free delivery for orders above $60.

All sourdough loaves are baked fresh and prepared according to your chosen delivery or collection date to ensure quality and consistency.

Frozen Options​

Selected frozen options are offered where quality is not compromised.

We started with bagels. More items may follow, but only if they meet the same standard. Every frozen product has been tested. When done properly, freezing preserves structure and flavor.

For best results, keep frozen for up to 3 months.

If you prefer to freeze fresh bread yourself, pre-slicing allows you to use only what you need.

 

From freezer to table:

  • Slices → straight into the toaster

  • Loaves or bagels → partly defrost, then reheat in the oven

  • Lightly brush with water before baking for a better crust (optional)

  • Avoid air fryers (they tend to dry out the bread)

 

Frozen options are available anytime. Fresh bakes require a 2-day lead time.
