Chocolate Sourdough Loaf
Ingredients: Wheat flour, water, chocolate chips, brown sugar, cocoa powder, salt
Our Chocolate Sourdough Loaf is not a dessert bread — but it is unmistakably chocolaty. A naturally fermented sourdough made with 70% dark chocolate and unsweetened cacao, where depth replaces sweetness.
Built on just flour, water, salt, time — and finished with dark chocolate and pure cacao — this loaf leans into cocoa flavor without crossing into sugary territory. Long fermentation softens bitterness and brings balance, allowing the chocolate to come through as rich, rounded, and aromatic rather than sweet.
The crust bakes dark and gently caramelized, while the crumb stays soft and open, carrying melted chocolate throughout. The flavor sits somewhere between bread and chocolate: full, comforting, and nuanced, but never heavy or dessert-like.
Cacao is often referred to as a natural superfood, valued for its antioxidants and minerals. Here, it quietly supports both flavor and structure — nothing added for effect.
What surprised us most wasn’t the loaf itself, but the reaction: even people who usually avoid chocolate breads kept coming back for another slice and asked for it to be made available online. Well, here it is now.
Honest, balanced, and quietly indulgent — a loaf that doesn’t fit into categories and doesn’t need to.
What to expect
Dark, crackling crust with deep cocoa aromas
Soft, airy crumb with chocolate present in every bite
Chocolaty flavor without added sweetness
Rounded finish that feels satisfying, not rich
Excellent on its own, lightly toasted, or with butter. Equally good as a slow breakfast, afternoon slice, or a not-too-sweet treat whenever the mood hits.
This isn’t cake. It’s chocolate, in bread form.
Freshly baked in Singapore in small batches.
